AIOFP State Member Meetings / ASX PD SessionsIn August and September the AIOFP will be holding state member meetings. These meetings will be invaluable for those members who are interested in the AIOFP’s new initiatives: the Filtered Research Committee and the Certified Financial Strategist designation. CommInsure will also conduct a presentation on risk remuneration and implementation titled “Insuring Life’s Major Events”. These meetings will also incorporate an ASX PD training session on self managed super funds titled “Taking control of your retirement savings”. 2 CPD points will be available from this session. All members that are applying for the Certified Financial Strategist designation will be required to attend this session to get the 4 CPD points from ASX to qualify for the CFS. CostThe cost to attend these meetings is $30 + GST per attendee which includes lunch and the ASX self managed super fund PD session.
