Filtered Research Committee

Over the past 25 years advisers and clients have relied upon the competency and reliability of the retail research house to deliver quality information. This information is central to achieving client and adviser objectives. Unfortunately this process has largely failed due to remuneration conflicts and irregular monitoring and surveillance of products, markets and strategy by the traditional retail research houses.

The AIOFP board has addressed this weakness by establishing an independent Filtered Research Committee [FRC] to oversee this most important process. FRC is chaired by well known, independent analyst, Robert McGregor, three competent AIOFP committee members, and highly respected global research house Mercers will act as the primary filter and consultant to the board.

The FRC primary task is to construct and constantly monitor a recommended list of products that will give clients and advisers peace of mind and confidence that investment objectives can be met.
