Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning

As you no doubt know everyone currently in the industry must be ‘degree qualified’ in an appropriate manner by 2024.

The Education industry is an excessively lucrative area where massive margins are taken by ‘brands’. A course can range between $15 – $30,000 depending on what Institution you select.

Considering our member surveys over the years have proven that consumers care little for qualifications/designations or even Association membership, paying these excessive prices for a brand is simply not necessary.

The minimum requirement a course needs is approval by the Australian Skills Quality Authority [ASQA], the federal Government department overseeing the industry. If a course is approved by ASQA it is comparable to ALL others and the difference in pricing relates directly to the premium you are paying for the ‘brand’.

Based on this position we have structured a course that has ASQA approval but have cut out the ‘middle people’ who take the largest margins ie Universities and listed Training organisations – to keep the price down.

We have worked in conjunction with University Commerce and Economics Professor Sarath Delpachitra and the Adelaide Institute of Business Technology RTO to develop the GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF FINANCIAL PLANNING. Once this completed a final MASTERS unit will be offered to complete the requirements.

Included in our ASQA approval is the ability to recognise industry experience as a pre – requisite to enter the course. Ie if you have not completed a tertiary qualification your industry experience counts to enter.

The price is $8,000 (4 units by $2,000) which is well below the nearest rival and this price includes a margin built in for the AIOFP to assist its funding.

The first intake of students commences during JUNE if you want to get started, complete it and email it through to us.

Please contact Ray Bailey or Peter Johnston if you have any further questions.
