2024 promises to be a huge year for the Advice community. A looming Federal election and some very likely positive changes to our working conditions will be foreshadowed or even agreed to in a bipartisan fashion by late May. This will set the scene for some key issues to be presented in Bangkok and Vientiane the capital of Laos.
The Hyatt Regency on Sukhumvit Road was so good last year we will spend 2 nights there on the way to Vientiane due to the difficult logistics of getting to Laos in one day, a great outcome. The new 5 Star Crowne Plaza in Vientiane will maintain the standard.
As always, we will have relevant guest speakers giving relevant information complimented by Members sharing their business model with you. The social events will include Dinner on the Hyatt Sky Bar in Bangkok and some special places in Vientiane to network with your fellow members.
The extension to Malta will be a very special once in a lifetime experience if you want to spoil yourself. There will then be a delegation travelling to Coutts & Co Board room in London for lunch after a training session on Thursday June 6th.
In addition, 2022 Victorian of the Year and AFL Legend Kevin Sheedy and partner Geraldine will be joining us.

Conference will commence in Bangkok on Saturday the 25th May in the afternoon for a usual half day session. It is suggested to arrive into Bangkok the evening of Friday 24th May for a timely start. The group will depart The Hyatt Regency on Sunday 26th May for Vientiane Laos. It is approximately a one hour flight and there are several that leave on 26th May. AIOFP will provide ground transfers in both Bangkok and Vientiane, to avail of this arrangement please book the following flight –
